102 Miles
The last full day on the prairie prior to climbing to the Continental Divide was indeed, a very long and full day. A typical PYL early deaparture and late arrival interwoven with the incredible Montana big sky country, more wind and an incredible amount of snacking. Chris Butera finally learned how strong he can be if he has a big breakfast as he led the pack most of the day. Three year vet Justin Dean was a trooper during a mid-day hitch in our giddy-up that allowed us to reach today's destination. Tomorrow we are scheduled to reach the eastern border of Glacier National Park and while a bit wary of the ascents, the boys are excited to leave the barrenness of the prairie and actually see mountains and people rather than only steer and wheat.
May the winds be with us!
