This anonymous author of the daily journal is hearing distant complaints of repetitive entries so... what do you think a North Dakota to the Oregon Coast bike expedition is? Though certainly much of the same each day, we have experienced climate, ecological, cultural, heritage, custom and landscape differences as we earn each mile with our newly developed inner strength and physical conditioning. Today was a straight route on I-84 known as the Scenic Columbia River Gorge Highway. Travel is usually somewhat unpleasant although today's beautiful weather and panoramic views made it exceptional. Today's riddle: What did George Washington say to the tattered colonial troops along the frigid Delaware River to inspire them to cross and defeat the British? (Answer following)

I have always thought that those complaining should do the job themselves. Ask them if they want to write the posting every day. You probably won't hear anything else. I personally think that both the writer and riders are doing fine.

Knowing the crew, I believe the complaints may not be so distant. Perhaps they would like to write the entries each day themselves - or perhaps not. In any case, I think that both the writer and the riders are doing a good job.

No complaints here either! I am happy for the opportunity to follow your adventure. I can imagine it is a lot to try to keep up with this as well as everything else. Thank you for being so diligent in your efforts in writing and posting entries and photos. It is very much appreciated. Anticipating your return but enjoy the rest of your journey. Hi Everyone. You all have done a tremendous job! Congratulations to the young men, staff and to all who have put forth time, effort and money to make this journey possible. Justin D. you have traveled from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. I looked at the photos from 2006 the other day and what a difference two years make, you have grown up before everyone's eyes. Speaking of pictures, staff, you have to tell me your secret of getting so many snapshots of my son... :) Have a safe return and we will be waiting somewhat impatiently...
