A very impressive day for these strong young men that included big miles, big 5-10 mile climbs in triple digit highland desert Eastern Washington heat. This state claims to be the "Evergreen State" but we say mainly brown desert barren highlands and very light brown wheat fields. Very dry and very hot. All kids were excellent on the bikes nd while the kids and college staff went to sleep exhaustingly early, Mark was earning extra money at the local casino for needed ice tomorrow.
